Saint Clair is a cross-border investment firm connecting Korea and Europe. It works with Korean companies building a serious route into Europe: market entry, partnership, or capital from European investors.
The Discovery Session is the first step. It is a 30-minute, no-fee conversation in which we and you decide whether an engagement is warranted, and along which pathway. It is held in person at our Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok office; a video call is available on request for companies based outside Seoul.
We prepare for it. Before you arrive, we read your materials and study your market, so the thirty minutes begin at depth rather than at introductions. We ask the same seriousness in return. This session is for founders with a live project and the authority to act on it; come ready to present your European thinking and to share your investor deck or business plan in advance.
Where the project is still notional, or the work undone, we will tell you so, plainly and with the reason.
Four questions, before you book. They show where you stand against the work ahead.
The Discovery Session itself runs 30 minutes, in English, with Korean support available. A short Collaboration Assessment Note follows within three days.
The programme is led by Carl Härtlein, founder and Managing Director of Saint Clair. He is Chair of the Korean-Irish Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Korea-resident; Saint Clair headquartered in Singapore.
